Puppies Behind Bars, giving back to society

Happy New Year everyone!

Giving back to society is an important way to maintain your own motivation.

In an article found in the New Yorker magazine, you can find a description of a program called Puppies Behind Bars it details how veterans who are suffering PTSD are assisted by prisoners and dogs.

The program serves as a way to help people in prison cope with not being able to see their families and keep their minds occupied with doing something positive for the world.

This program pairs up dogs with the prisoners.

The prisoners then, in turn train the dogs to work with PTSD veterans, to cope with their symptoms.

This is a wonderful and positive program helping those imprisoned in a building with those imprisoned in their own minds by disturbing memories.

There is a video for you to watch.

If you can, please donate time or money to a worthy cause.

Let’s help veterans and prisoners stay motivated for a better future.
